Mail view bug?

Hi,

I have a user running Outlook 2007 on Vista.
When he receives an email it shows up in unread view and not in inbox view even though the default view is set to messages.
Now sometimes new mail DOES show up in the inbox view and sometimes not. I have watched four messages come in and two show in inbox and two do not. When in Unread view after reading the email it shows up in inbox as expected. Is there a way to disable the unread view? Is there something more I need to configure for this user?

I think the views are messed up. Run the command line switch to reset
views.
