mail goes to "unread mail" box instead of inbox

My e-mails show up only in the unread folder, not in the inbox. After they
are
viewed in the Unread folder, they are gone and can not be found when doing a
search in all folders. I made sure that my view is set to "messages" and
they still aren't coming into my inbox. Help!

Do you only keep unread mail in your in-box? If not and you keed read mail
there, then try sorting the mailbox by received rather than by the icon.

Might the items be getting sorted to other folders by rules so they're not
in the Inbox folder but some other folder?

When you read the mail in the unread folder, what folder name is listed? If
you don't see the folder names, right click on the row of field names and
choose Folder - this will group them by folder.

Once you do this, we'll know if you have rules moving the messages or if the
Messages view needs reset.
