Lost USB when upgrading to PRO

I just upgraded my new DELL Dimension 8300 to XP-Pro from Home edition.

Everything seems fine except none of my USB ports work any more.

If I plug something like a camera in its lights come on just like normal,
but the PC just sits there without its extra "hard drive"

My USB mouse doesn't work at all and I've had to plug in an old ps2
connected mouse.

I've done all the Windows Updates.

Any other ideas? Or tests I should do? I've tried different USB sockets,
plugging in a hub (as if that was going to work :\ )

If SP1 was included in "I've done all the Windows Updates"
then open the device manager and delete all the USB hubs and
devices, including the mouse, printers, cameras, whatever.
Then reboot. Plug and Play should re-detect and install
your USB and get the correct up dated drivers.

Thank you very much. 2 minutes after reading your post I'm up and running.

Now why didn't I think of that....
