(What I mean by USB ports is where you plug in the USB) Yeah that's what I'm
saying it won't work!!!!!!!!! When I plug in my USB the computer doesn't let
me acess it!!!!! In fact, the computer doesn't even display any part of my
USB!!!! It just acts as if it was never plugged in!!!! My mouse, also being a
USB device, doesn't work either!!!! Please help me!!!!

Some things you might need to know...

-I am using a laptop
-I know it's my USB ports that have a problem because I tried my USB at
school and it worked
-My computer is from LG electronics and its brand is Windows XP
-I have many game applications (about 4)
-My computer is about 3 years old
-My computer is has 3 USB ports
-When I go to device manager to check the status of the USB root hubs or the
USB port controllers it says they're working normally

Go into Device Manager and uninstall all of the USB related devices.

Shut down and restart the computer. Windows will redetect and reload
the USB drivers which may resolve the issues.

If the problem persists then I suspect that you may have a physical
(hardware) problem with the USB ports themselves and therefore you
should have a hardware repair technician examine the computer.

Good luck
