Losing "fast user switching" after wife uses AOL 9.0

This is an infrequent, but frustrating problem. After using AOL 9.0
Optimized SE as her basis for web-browsing, my wife's account disables the
"fast user switching" on XP, forcing a complete log-out of her account in
order for me to log into my account. It doesn't happen for me, as I use IE
6.0 as my web browser.

Is this a known issue with anyone else???

Info: Windows XP SP2 (all latest patches), AOL 9.0 Optimized SE, IE6 (all
latest patches).
