Fast User Switching - no can do?

J

John Smith

Friend with XP setting up e-mail for himself, his wife and child...all ok
but doesn't seem to be able to arrange Fast User Switching (Start/Control
Panel/User Accounts/Change the way Users log on and off/Use Fast User
Switching) because his McAfee Security Centre software throws up the note -
"Suspicious script has been detected - the file mshta.exe contains
suspicious scripting activity and has been stopped". So each time he
switches User to wife or vic versa the line is dropped and they need to log
on-line again each time.
Anyone know anything about this...unsure what mshta.exe is - hope his system
isn't infected?!
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks,
John

MacAfee Internet Security suite 8.0 onwards, usually conflicts with Win XP SP2.
But do scan for spy wares, using Adaware SE & Spy bot. Just to be sure that
your OS
isn’t infected.

Regards.

Your XP/ System file is infected.
Try cleaning using scan by Trend Micro's, House Call scanning.

Well, hmm…..If you don’t like my presence or posts, makes you uncomfortable
or my quitting shall provide you with some inner satisfaction, would gladly
quit....

Actually am a newbie is my first experience in a newsgroup & my English is
poor.
As regards my replies they are practical, in depth, tried & tested
solutions.....no BS....

Despite being a Med Prof. take out the time to help people (who like me are
stuck up with MS products), after seeing the support provided by the so
called elite class.....

Give me one reason & I’ll quit.
Regards!

PS: As regards 35 replies (what ever) in 7days could give 35 in 1 hr (If I
had the time), coz I don’t have to think much, the answers strike my neurons
spontaneously, am confident & bold. I know what I am talking about. Don’t
just reply for the sake of replying.
