Hi,

I'm trying to setup up a message banner that appears
before the user can hit ALT-CTRL-DEL to logon.
I use to do it in Win95/98/ME, but cannot find the same
thing in Win2000/XP.

I know there is one, but can't locate it.

cheers
Mark

Go to Administrative Tools (control panel), choose Local Security
Policy (or Domain Security Policy).

Go to Local Policies>Security Options.

Scroll to "Interactive Logon: Message text for users attempting to log
on".

Double-click it, and enter in your text.

Do the same for the Message Title, the next option below it.

The users will be displayed your text before they attempt to log on.

There's also a way of putting a line or two of text ON the actual login
screen that is undocumented I think: I can look it up if need be.
