Hi. I don't know if any of you have ever had this problem
but this is driving me crazy. I am using my computer at
home and when I logged on today I got a weird message and
I wasn't able to log on with my profile that has been set
up. Well to make a long story short, I can't access any
of my stored files for school, my internet settings are
messed up and I can't save anything. If I do, when I log
off they don't get saved.
Here is the message that I got in case any of you want to
know....
Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible
causes of this error include, insufficient security
rights or a corrupt local profile. If the problem
persists contact your network administrator (I don't have
one of these because this is personal computer at home,
so I would think I am the administrator)
Detail--An I/O operation initiated by the registry failed
unrecoverably. The registry could not read it, write it,
or flush one of the files that contain the system's image
of the registry.
I sent it to the support center but they didn't have any
more information about this topic. So that is why I am
here asking if any of you may know what in the world I am
talking about.
Also the other message that I get is something about not
being able to find the local profile.
If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Melana
