How can I get into Safe Mode when I cannot get past the "Log on to Windows"
menu?
The laptop continues to read "Logon Message" " Unable to log you on because
your account has been locked out, please contact your administrator". I have
left the machine for 15 minutes as suggested, however, same thing occurs. I
know my user name and password, the laptop refuses to accept! I have no
Administrator details. HELP!

Restart the computer and press <F8> just as the PC finishes its POST
(Power On Self-Test) and switches control to the OS.

Just keep tapping the F8 Function Key as the computer is booting up. A
Menu will come up. Make sure that you run your Anti-Virus Scan in Safe Mode.
