Log on problem

I have a laptop from my previous job and the log in screen showed user name,
password and domain. I accidently changed the connection ID setting from
connected to a business network to home use. Next time, I tried to log on,
the domain part of the login screen was not there and and the system would
not accept my user name and password so I can't log into windows because my
ID must be attached to the domain name that I took out.

I tried to log on as administrator but it requires a password I don't have.
Any suggestions as to what I could or should do??

Why not ask for the password from where you got the machine?
