Locating pst file on data drive or partition

Am having to rebuild my PC, and forgotten how to setup locating my pst file
on drive 'e' instead of the default 'c'.

I like to keep my data and programs separate for ease of backups, etc.

I have a copy of my pst file on dvd, now copied to 'e'.

I renamed the pst file on 'c', as .bak, opened Outlook and then searched for
my existing pst on 'e', but that doesn't operate smoothly, repeatedly asking
me silly questions each time I open Outlook.

Make sure all e-mail enabled apps + outlook is closed. Use the mail applet
(then data files button for later versions of Outlook) in the control panel
to add/remove PST files.
