Hi:

I have a Toshiba Satellite P105 laptop and recently updated the bios (as
advised by a Toshiba bulletin). I also installed a newer version of my
internet security suite (on the same day) and have noticed my laptop is now
getting warmer than it was before either of the updates. I have a laptop
cooler attached and prior to either updates the internal fan never kicked on
and I never felt heat coming from the laptop. Now I have noticed the keys
of the laptop are warmer (not uncomfortably so, but noticeably warmer) and
the internal fan now turns on intermittantly. I have also noticed an
increase in CPU usage with fewer applications open (idle still remains
between 0-4%). Could the increased heat be caused by the software either of
the software updates? And how can I check my bios version and if I wanted
to revert back to my previous bios version how would I do that save
restoring with the factory disc?

Thanks!
