Language Bar

I have an OEM version of Windows XP. The Language Bar is not accessible. The
"Language Bar" button in the " Text Services and Input Languages" dialog box
is greyed out. I could not find anything in the knowlege base or managed
news groups that seemed relevant or that had been resolved.

I'm not sure but you may find it in Add/Remove Programs>your Word or Office
programs/change>add or remove features>office shared features> then expand
Alternative User Input, and enable from there.

Thanks for your reply.
Although, that didn't get it.
I am using Office 2000 SB. I should probably upgrade, but I don't use it
enough worry about it.
Anyway, I hit a road block at >office shared features, as that feature does
not appear to exist in Office 2000.
Any other Ideas?
I don't really need the language bar. I just liked the text to speech
feature.
I could log on to my office computer from home and freek out the secretary.
I guess I shouldn't have closed it to begin with.
