Language bar interfering with taskbar

Hi,

Further to my earlier post about minimised windows not appearing in the
taskbar, I am still trying to solve the problem and have tried to close the
language bar (the minimised language bar icon (EN) appears to the left of the
taskbar near the Start button). But everytime I close the language bar, the
taskbar also disappears - as if they were glued together? Any ideas how to
resolve the problem?

The language bar icon won't slide to the right. It's the same whether the
taskbar is locked or unlocked.

Basically, I want minimised windows to appear in the taskbar, but there
seems to be some interference from the language bar.

I'd be very grateful for any suggestions.

Uninstall the language bar. It belongs to msoffice, doesn't it? If so, it
is a little tricky to uninstall. But the exact instructions can be obtained
at microsoft.com. Type in the search window how to uninstall language bar or
uninstall ctfmon. It involves with loading ctfmon into your memory and may
be the cause of your task bar woes and it is a booger to remove.
