I have a database which is 112, 000 kb. I have 3.24 GB RAM. Unfortunately the
database crashes and I have to go into task manager to close it. It has made
editting or fixing any problems next to impossible. It always crashes on the
same main screen when I click the X in the top right hand corner, it doesn't
close the screen. My hardware guy says this isn't a computer problem but an
Access problem. Does anyone know of any fixes I could download to increase
performance of Access 2007?

Create a new database file and try importing all your objects into the
new database file.

Also please report those crashes to Microsoft. While, of course, they
don't like getting crash reports, they treat those with a very high
priority and do their best to get those fixed.

A small screen comes up asking if you want to report the crash to
Microsoft. If you're not seeing that then I don't know why.
