I have created a databas in Access 2003 together with Wnidows XP. When using
the files in Wndows Vista and Access 2007 i can´t close reports when looking
at them in the preview mode. The Access built-in command in upper right
corner of the screen doesn´t work but I have to close down the whole
database. Why doesn´t it work to close the report and what´s the solution
for solving the problem.
Thank You in advanc for a solution

In Report or Layout view there are two Xs in the upper right corner - the
bottom one closes the report, the top closes Access.
In Print Preview mode there is a Close Print Preview button on the ribbon.
In any view you can right click on the preview and have the option to see
one of the other views, or design view.

Thank You for Your answer but I have tried all these facilities. To right
click on the document for example does´nt work. For the moment i don't have a
computer with Vista installed but i am convinced that all of the solutions
You have indicated doesn't work because I normally use all of these commands
in my own XP-verson. So - what shall I do ????
