Keyboard settings

We have a computer with multiple languages installed. We would like to switch
the languages with RightControl+Shift
However, when RightControl+Shift are pressed the cursor goes to the right
side of the screen/page like for Hebrew/Asian languages.
We've tried switch on and off keyboard layouts... Nothing works.
Can anyone, please, advice how to solve the problem?

Perhaps you might like to begin with a description of which keyboard
languages you have enabled and which you would like to retain.

It appears that you've enabled East Asian & Complex script languages: do
you want to keep using those or not?

Thank you very much for an answer.
Yes, East Asian languages was enabled. However, the described feature
remained even after only English language remained.
It is absolutely unnecessary to keep the East Asian languages.
Any Ideas?

How did you attempt to remove it? Did you uncheck the box to disable
East Asian languages?

Is this the only other set of languages involved? I think you mentioned
Hebrew...what did you do about that?

What keyboard languages and layouts do you have activated still?

Please try to supply more details, knowing that people here don't know
exactly what you've done or what you see in front of you.

Also please don't snip out earlier parts of the thread. I'm not going to
remember everything you've written before next time I come back to this
single post, and I won't go looking for earlier posts.

Yes, I've unchecked 'Supplemental language support' (both checkboxes) at
'Regional Settings'. I have also removed all languages from 'Text Services
and Input Languages' except English. The only layout left was 'US'

I can't really remember the set of languages. I said 'like Hebrew' meaning
writing in reversed direction. That's all.

English (United States). Layout - US.

The problem is not at my computer. So I can't tell which actions were
performed before I saw the situation for the first time. I've uninstalled
(removed) all languages and layouts, deactivated Supplemental Languages
Support and the problem remained. The situation has no logical explanation as
for me...

Once again, LeftCtrl+Shift works fine. RightCtrl+Shift makes cursor change
its position to the Right.

Sorry about that.

OK thanks for that more comprehensive post.

Two questions -

(1) does RightCtrl+Shift make the cursor move to the right in all
edit/text boxes or just in some richer applications like Word?
(2) Have you tried this: In the Text-Services dialog, go to the Advanced
tab and check [ ] Turn Off Advanced text services.

Here is another useful resource

International" in Microsoft's Global team.

Turn on the language bar and see what it says is happening. There is no language setting for what you say so language/keyboard may have nothing to do with what you are observing.
