Can someone please help?
I am running Windows 2000 SP3, IE6 on a very basic system. Access to
the internet is via an internal modem.
I find that when I access certain commercial websites ( eg Amazon ) my
keyboard and mouse cease to function, and the screen ceases to be
updated. The computer itself continues to function, because I can
access the hard drive from another networked computer. So at least it
must still be able to service the network connection.

I have found that 6 months ago this only happened on 1 or 2 sites, but
the number has increased - eg Amazon, which I was still able to access
some weeks ago.

I would be grateful if someone could suggest what is going on.
Thanks,
John.

Are you using a firewall with tons of bells and whistles such as norton
personal firewall?

not managed to fix it. Hopefully after the holiday
someone will respond

You must go find the key master but first you must find
mr.neo who would lead you to the key master. You and
mr.neo will escort the key master to your keyboard so he
could unlock your keyboard lock up

I have PC-cillin 2002 ( version 9.02, Engine v6.15) , and yes, the
personal firewall is enabled. I will see what the effect is of
disabling this.
