jpg thumbnails in Windows Explorer have wrong image displayed

Ever since I've had XP, both on a home Dell 8200 and an office Dell
Workstation (don't have model at hand, but it was purchased new in
10-04), the thumbnails in Windows Explorer don't always match up with
the filename underneath.

It usually happens in about 5 to 10 percent of the thumbnails....
definitely with JPG image thumbnails, but I don't know if it happens
with other file types.

What the............!!??

You /may/ have a corrupted thumbnail database (thumb.db).

Incorrect Thumbnail preview is displayed for image files?
