Windows Explorer Thumbnail view no longer shows file name

My Windows Explorer thumbnail view used to show the
thumbnail, along with the file name below the image. Now
when I select thumbnail view, all I get is the image, no
file name unless I mouse over the thumbnail to get the
image information. I didn't change any of the view
characteristics, so I don't know what made this happen. I
would like to have the file names visible once again. Any
suggestions appreciated.

Change your view to something else e.g. ICONS then holding the SHIFT key
down select VIEWS and change it back to thumbnails.
