Well they sent me an invite . I clicked on the link . I downloaded the software . I watched the Gong channel . Easy peasy . Uses about 50% of me procesor power so Crunching still possible . Don't know if its me broadband 512kb but its a bit stop and start whilst watching , but if you let it run in the background whilst doing somthing else and then click on the "restart current program" button it runs through with no problems . Its cool , good quality reproduction and the Gong anamie is just fab .
Is it possible to save the programs to disc? is there any software that would let me do that ?

:thumb::D
Glad you like Joost :)
CamStudio should be able to capture the pictures and sound easily and save them as an .avi file.
CamStudio is able to record all screen and audio activity on your computer and create industry-standard AVI video

I applied for this about five days ago, have heard nothing :(

I gave the reference on Mudlark's link as well.

If any of you lovely lovely peeps can help me out, would be much obliged :)

Well, let us know, 'cos they sent a copy of the email to me and I can easily send it on again if you do not get a direct one.

You can download the software at anytime ... but you will need that email to activate it.

Well, this is probably the reason I didn't get an invite though I don't recall receiving anything like this the first time I applied.

Just got this in one of those 'Undeliverable' messages in Outlook 2003:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: Joost Invite
Sent: 14/05/2007 19:21

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'(e-mail address removed)' on 14/05/2007 19:21
530 SMTP authentication is required.

I've just downloaded the software from the link in your e-mail Mr Mucks, will it just load up ok or do I have to do something to activate it?

oops

err, dunno, can't remember ...

I think you just put your email address in that I used to send you the invite ... that would be your gmail one.

I had already installed the software ... just run it and see what it askes you.

It does take quite a few seconds to actually load on my PC ...

If you have joost running then you can send invites from the program . Click on "my joost" at the right hand side , then , click on "widgets" bottom left and you'll get a menue up that includes "invites" . If anyone sles is after one I'd be happy tp oblige .
I can run joost and bionic and surf on my poor little pc all at the same time so you folks with hi tech pc's shouldn't have any probs at all . The GONG channel is fab :D

Is anyone having trouble giving out invitations?
I had a Joost software upgrade yesterday, now it rejects any email address I enter.
Grrrrrrr.....

Don't know how to get updates, unless it is automatic. Still working fine if I have been updated. :thumb:

One thing I would like to know ... once you have watched everything, how do you get more channels. :D
