Lost the tv remote...?

According to an article I have just read, it will be possible to control your tv using any object:
"Everyday objects in the house can now easily become remote controls so there are no more frantic searches for remote controls when your favourite programme is about to start on another channel, and now everyone in the room has the 'remote'. You could even change the channel with your pet cat."

Hmm... sounds clever, but a little chaotic if several people are watching and all want to take control... including the family cat! :lol:

Pretty cool to see how they can use gesture technology :). I know that some TVs have this built in (for hands), but I've not used it yet.

I do like the idea of having a cat or dog in control of the TV :lol:
