Internet Explorer

Why won't Internet Explorer stay uninstalled after me having removed it by
doing so in the Control Panel ?

It is worthless to me because it does NOT have the ability to change text
size for me to be able to view and read a web page.

Which version of IE we are talking here?.
If you downgraded from IE7 you will find IE6 back on your system!.
You cannot remove completley IE from windows operating system, you looks
like skining a bony fish!!!.

Could you please make it clear what you want to accomplish here?.

I assume that you're referring to IE7, which updates IE6 in WinXP.

When one uninstalls IE7, IE6 will be restored. You then have to take steps to
prevent Windows Update from "upgrading" your system to it again.

Others may offer alternate solutions to block the update, but I found this to be
the easiest and most positive method for myself, my family, a few friends, and
some neighbors.

Here's the link for the Internet Explorer 7 Blocker Toolkit offered by
Microsoft:

Toolkit to Disable Automatic Delivery of Internet Explorer 7

I was never impressed with IE7 in general, so I'm just staying with IE6 for now.
I prefer to let others work out IE7's compatibility issues....there are better
things to do with one's time.

You may also want to look into Mozilla's Firefox as an alternate browser.
