Internet Explorer Shut Down

I get a messege saying that Internet Explorer has
performed an illegal operation and will shut down. Then I
am asked if I would like to send an error report or not.
That does me no help. Can anyone help???

Screw the sending an error report. Doesn't help you, and
I wouldn't be surprised if Big Brother were taking notes
on your system.

If it happens once or twice, reboot (also never hurts to
leave the whole system off for a couple of minutes after
you shut down...then reboot). Several times in a short
period of time, I'd reinstall IE over your current copy.
Could be that a file or two have been corrupted, and
reinstalling should replace those corrupted files with
fresh copies. I hope. :)

Well, that's what I would do....

Good luck,

Dani

Seems like "sending an error report" does as much as a Page not displayed,
Page cannot be found 404 error "click to detect settings" kind of thing...It
does absolutely nothing. ;-)

IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware

and:

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.
