Hi Frank
Try clearing temporary internet files, history and cookies from Tools ->
Internet Options -> General tab.
It might also be adware or spyware related. You can read about this here:
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/default.mspx
Lastly, it could just be a third party add-on. If you have Windows XP with
SP2 there's a new dialog for managing addons but it sounds like you're
probably on a different platform. If this is the case, you can only switch
off all third party addons by going to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced
tab -> under "browsing" uncheck "Enable third-party browser extensions".
