illegal operation

Everytime I am on the internet browsing with internet
explorer I keep getting the same message. Explorer has
preformed an illegal operation and will be shut down. Why
is this happening all the time?

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite).
