Internet Explorer not opening as expanded

This is driving me crazy! Could someone please email me
an answer? Anytime I click a shortcut from my desktop to
a website, or open Internet Explorer, it does not "open",
but rather shows active on my taskbar, which I then
must "rightclick" and then click "Maximize" in order for
the browser to open! Why is the browser not opening
maximized anymore??? Thank you SO much if you can help!

Hi Tobias,

Open IE. Don't choose Maximize. Close all other windows. Right click its
entry on the taskbar and choose Size (or Move). Use the arrow keys to make
it the size you want. Close it that way. Then re-open IE.
