Internet connection fails

whenever I am on the internet I get a message saying that i am ignoring an
incoming telephone call this disconnects my internet connection but there is
no incoming call is this a computer error or a telephone line error

If you have a V.90 modem, visit its manufacturer's site to
find out if you can flash upgrade it to a V.92 modem.

A V.92 modem allows you to receive voice calls while being
online.

Otherwise, try looking under Modem in the Device Manager
for a setting called Call Waiting. If it's enabled,
disable it. Then when someone calls they just get an
engaged signal instead of being put on hold.
