Installshield failed to register one or more programs

Hi,
I have Dell Inspiron 1300 running Windows XP Home SP3.

I am trying to install a product from Magellan called "Mapsend Topo Canada"
for use with my handheld GPS.

When installing the Mapsend Topo Canada program I get the following message
at about 5% into the installation; "InstallShield failed to register one or
more programs. Please reboot your computer and try again".

When I reboot and try to insall again I get the same message.


Any suggestions?
