Installer opens and closes instantly.

I am trying to install VmWare workstation and the installer opens and
closes instantly. I tried installing on my mojopac (mojopac.com for
those who don't know, it's a windows on a USB stick), and it worked.
But the problem is I want to install on my computer and it's not
working.

Does anybody know the solution to this problem?

Contact VMware for help with their program. Their tech support is excellent
and they also have very active user forums. VMware Workstation works great
on both my XP and Vista machines (and VMware Fusion on my Mac) so there is
some other issue with your computer that I can't guess about.
