I am trying to setup windows to run in both a normal boot up and in a virtual
machine. I have set up my system to dual boot to windows xp and centos.
I installed and set up vmware workstation 6, and set it up to look for the
windows installation from the native windows partion of the disk.
The problem is, I keep getting an activation prompt saying I have 30 days to
activate the install when I log in using vmware. Logging in natively works
fine.
I do not think this should be a problem, because I am only using 1
installation of windows xp, I am not trying to set up multiple installations.
Others in my building have not had problems with this set up, it just seems
like it is mine.
Any feedback would be appreciated!
Thanks,
