I am not sure if this is the right place.
I want install virtual machine, 2 options: VMWare and MS Virtual PC 2007.

1) What do I need to install using VMWare? Just VMware Workstation? Do I
need to install VMWare Palyer too?

2) or just MS Virtual PC 2007?

What do you plan on using the machines for? On what host OS for
virtualizing what OS for what purpose are these machines?

I want to try Linux. Also want to try Vista and Visual Studio 2008.

Hi.. if u want to try Linux using Virtual PC, you better yet use VirtualBox.
Virtual PC has issues with linux, particularly the mouse.
