I have a Sony PCV-RX-850 and I can:t install the A)L 8.0
or 9.0 version. Evaery time I install them , when I try
to reconnect to AOL, the computer shuts down, re-starts
and display a message tha the system has recovered from a
serious problem. What can I do to unstall the new
versions of AOL in my computer?

Thats because even xp is smart enough to know that installing aol on
anything is a bad thing to do.

It's not a windows problem but an aol one contact them.

Greetings --

I'm afraid you'll need to contact AOL's tech support for resolution
of problems with (or caused by) their product; Microsoft has no
control over AOL's product quality (or lack thereof).

The best advice I could ever give to anyone is DO NOT install AOL on your
computer.
AOL will always always always cause problems. I have never known a single
person who ever had AOL on their machine that did not have problems because
of AOL.

Do yourself a favor...get a real ISP and dump AOL.
