Insert OLE

Word 2007

I'm trying to insert a Word Doc into another word doc. I want the new doc to
automatically update when i update the original. This was a simple process in
the 2003 version, but for some reason I can only get it to 'show' page one of
my old docs.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'm curently using the 'Insert |
Text | Object | Text from File' option with the Link checked. I've tried this
several other ways to no avail...

Note that you cannot use the Object dialog box, which is equivalent to
inserting an OLE object, and these can never span pages in Word. Instead, do
the following to insert a file in Word 2007: On the Insert tab of the
ribbon, click the arrow next to Object, and then click Text from File. Word
displays the Insert File dialog box. Locate the file, select its icon, and
then click the arrow next to the Insert button, and choose Insert as Link.
As in previous versions, an INCLUDETEXT field is added (see also
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/tblsfldsfms/includetextfieldscontent.htm).
