Embedding another Word Doc in Original WOrd Doc

When trying to use the function Insert/object/Create from file, then browse
to the file to insert on the original word doc the following {EMBED
Word.Document.8 \s} gets put on the doc instead of an icon that the user can
click to get to the Doc file. I'm using Word 2000 if that makes a difference

You are viewing the filed code that instructs Word to get an object. Use
Alt-F9 to toggle between field codes and their results.
