Inbox New message count incorrect

T

Tetontom

Recently, the unread message count in my Inbox shows an incorrect number of
messages. It shows from '3' to '18' new, unread messages when I have '0'
[none] messages. I have scrolled through my Inbox, but there are no unread
messages.

I have attempted to ascertain the cause of the problem..without success.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Where do you see the count? What version of Outlook?

Brian, the message count is shown in paranthesis to the right of 'Inbox'.

I have Office Outlook 2003 SP3.

Thanks for the help!
