I'm having the same issue - suddenly after working fine for months.
The only thing I downloaded recently was Google Desktop Search.
Anybody with this problem also use that?

A lot of people have problems with GDS. What happens if you uninstall it?

Has anyone received a solution to this. I have many Outlook 2003 Windows XP
users (Exchange Email). With this same problem. No Google tool bar, no
Google add-in at all.

New mail comes in but doesn't show in the inbox, yet unread mail folder
count has increased. Has to click out of the inbox onto another mail folder
before the message shows up in the inbox. Very annoying. And causes work
issues as staff are expecting messages and not seing them to action. Until
they do the above.

Try resetting the views. Start Outlook once with the /cleanviews command
switch.

I am also having same issue. Running Vista Business and had issue with
Outlook 2003. Decided to try upgrading to Outlook 2007 to fix problem but
same issue. What is real interesting for me is that I do get a couple of
messages every now and then. I see lots of incoming mail being received but I
do not see where it goes. I have refreshed all views. Looked in all folders
and still nothing. Good news is that I do not even see any junk mail, imagine
that!

Several updates were automatically installed on the night (New Zealand) of 14
May, everything has worked OK since then. Coincidence? Permanent?

We are experiencing the same issue at our company. We think we have found a solution. The first one we tried was removing all extra add-ins in the Trust Center. That worked temporarily, and then we found out if you right click on the Inbox folder, and then uncheck "Show Microsoft Exchange views" that everything showed up in the Inbox. I hope this helps.

I would like an update, as well. It is apparent from Googling this issue that
several end-users and tech support people have experienced this problem,
tried all kinds of suggested "solutions" and come up short. I am one of them.

This is very frustrating -- even more so that Microsoft hasn't given it the
attention it deserves!

Has anyone found a solution to this problem yet?

It's a very common problem with a NAT router. First thing I would do is
install all of the updates and the Feb cumulative update and see if it
helps....
