inappropriate start-up box

I am getting a small window box with "OK" in it appear during windows start
up. It does nothing and requires you to click on the "OK" or the X in the
upper right corner to get rid of it. I don't know what program is producing
it. There is the name of a dictionary program I use in the Title Bar. I
have deleted the program and reinstalled it in the hope of getting rid of the
box, but it didn't work.

Can someone tell me how to find where this box is being generated and get
rid of it?
I am using Windows XP Home, ver 5.1
 
Go to Start/Run, and type MSCONFIG then look at the STARTUP TAB, to uncheck unwanted, checked items
