END PROGRAM BOXES AT SHUTDOWN

Jack

I have a Windows XP, SP3, system. Lately, when I go to shutdown the
computer I get one box that says I cannot shut down the computer without
losing recent data. I click on "End Program" and another box goes through a
process that allows the computer to shut down. I don't lose any data but
the pop-ups are annoying. For example the title of one box read "END
PROGRAM - FE8." However, each night there is a different suffix to the
statement "End Program." How do I get rid of these pop-ups? Any help will
be greatly appreciated.
