Imapi cd_burning Com service disabled after sp2

I keep getting the follwoing message after installing sp2:

This application is not supported in this operating
system.

In the event log IMAPI cd-burning com service will turn
on and then turn off...

How do I get rid of the annoying message after login...
 
Open the services and disable the imapi service:

%SystemRoot%\system32\services.msc /s

or reinstall DirectCD (it's the same programme that is shipped with WinXP in
the form of the IMAPI cd-burning service, so a reinstall should fix the issue)
