bsod

the followind bsod haunts me:

Error code 000000d1, parameter1 000000ec, parameter2 00000002, parameter3
00000001, parameter4 ef2f08d4.

http.sys (address and base value keep on changin)

now i've looked through this forum and found out that a similar problem was
solved by turning off the nvidia firewall. i did that and rebooted the
computer a few times and it seems to work in the beginnin but then a new bsod
appeared:

BAD_POOL_CALLER (c2)

it never came back again but the old d1 bsod returned right after it.

then lately the d1 bsod started to appear in a new edition:
Error code 000000d1, parameter1 01000019, parameter2 00000002, parameter3
00000000, parameter4 eed2c47b.

NVTCP.sys

in the event viewer i can c that a few seconds before each crash the
following happens
"The IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service service entered the stopped [or running]
state."
i never tried to burn any cds and i don't know what "IMAPI" is.

the problem started after i started using the linksys router.

this is a brand new system.

help!

i posted my question before finishin everything i had to say becuz i feared
the BSOD would pop up before im done.

the website u guys keep on refering people w/ bsod problems to says to
download the latest service pack or use some kind of hotfix. do u know about
any issues w/ that? (i'm really paranoid).

and if i decide to use verifier, how do i turn it off?
