I have a laptop that keeps getting BSOD and the error message in Event Viewer
says: Error code 000000d1, parameter1 00000008, parameter2 00000002,
parameter3 00000000, parameter4 f5552835.
Any ideas?

What OS (Operating System) are you running? Running WindowsXP, try
a system Restore in Safe Mode.
