IMAPI Error nad no CD Burning

I had the W32.Beagle virus. I have since cleaned it successfully. My new problem is that I am unable to write CD's. I have gone into the registry and changed the Value data to a 2 for CD-RW. I now see the Recording Tab on the properties sheet for that device

I go to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services->IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service Properties and click Start. I then get the message

Could not start the IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service service on Local Compute

Error 193:0xc

This used to work before I got the virus.

I got it back. I backed off most of the SP2 patches. I will now try installing the patches one at a time again...
