IE6 loads pages slowly but other browser load fine?

I've somehow corrupted my IE6 installation or settings most likely from my
addiction to tweaking my system. Web page loading has slowed down
considerably all of a sudden, yet the same uncached pages load much faster
on Opera 7. This was not the case a few days ago so I'm sure I've changed
something on my end. Is there an IE6 repair function or a way to download
only IE6 for Windows XP without doing a full Windows repair or
reinstallation?

Performed a system restore to a checkpoint a could of days ago and all is
well. Anyone know if there is a way to access the system restore logs to see
what was changes or reverted to?
