IE6 loads Home Page, but nothing else.

My other browsers function fine but IE6 only loads the home page, then just
sits there. When I put in a search it does nothing, the progress bar moves
but then give "page can not be displayed" error. I tried reinstalling,
nothing. I tried upgrading to IE7 now, same thing. I also tried
reinstalling windows, same thing. any ideas, anyone?
I am fine without it, but would like to fix it.
