I have seen alot of posts about downloads problems,
unfortunatly I could find the right solution.

But did not find any solutions.
Problem
Downloading (large) file (40MB) hangs, using IE6 (IE6SP1)
on WinXP/2K. (with or without antivirus running)
After save as dialog appears the download begins after a
few seconds estimated time left, percentage doesn't
change. The folder copy animation keeps 'running'.
When downloading the same file with Opera or Netscape then
there is not problem.
The webserver is a windows 2000 advance server (IIS5),
latest sp and hotfixes. It is running mcafee antivirus,
but the download files of the webserver have been added to
the excluded list.
Does anyone have the answer?
