IE deleting file from cache before opening it in a program

Hello.
I'm having trouble with opening any kind of files when clicking link
and selecting `Open`. If I select `Save` all just goes fine, but
`Open` runs a program (absolutely not important which one: Excel,
Media Player, ACDSee, Winamp etc) and that program can't find desired
file in Temporary Internet Files already, because file is simply
gone!! I can see the whole process (while `Open` not clicked yet,
there's file in cache yet, and right after clicking file's just being
deleted), but have no idea how to fix it. I've tried clearing the
whole cache and re-sizing it, didn't help.
This problem appeared long ago (and I just didn't care, since don't
use that function too frequently, saving file to disc always helped),
but only today it suddenly became impossible to open m3u files in such
way, so my life turned into hell... Please advice.
Thank you.

Try setting Work Offline if you are trying to reread a file that you know
is in your cache. Otherwise a request will be made to the host
without a User-Agent that it recognizes and that may be where the
delete request originates.

Otherwise use the TIF viewer to find the actual file in the TIF
and drag it from there to the application. (You might also be
able to provide the complete path and stored filename to the
application's Open dialog but that is less likely and seems harder.)
Keystrokes in IE: Alt-T,O,Alt-S,V (That launches an Explorer window
with a special view of the TIF.) To simplify finding the file I suggest
you use View Details and View, Arrange Icons by, Last Accessed
(Alt-V,D Alt-V,I,Last Accessed)

Good luck
