IE 6 error message

I have recently started to get the following error
message when I am surfing. Internet Explorer has
encountered a problem and needs to close. It gives me
three options: 1 Debug 2 Send error msg 3 Don't send
error msg. Which ever I choose, it throws me off the
web. I am using a new Dell computer with XP Pro and my
ISP is Earthlink. Neither has been able to help. The
Earthlink tech says he is experincing the same problem on
his home computer. Pleas someone provide a fix.

theirs for free. reinstall ie6.
