Steve

This problem began just recently without warning.
When I go to a site I have to wait about 10 seconds before
IE will allow me to click on any links. I am on a cable
modem and have never had this problem before. My kids
share the connection and they are NOT experienceing the
same problem. Please help it is very troublesome.

Thanks

First eliminate any scumware.
See

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.

Frank,

I have had a similar problem and have used Ad-aware and
SpyBot, uninstalled and reinstalled IE to no avail.
