IE 6.0 Slow

I have noticed in the past few week and sometime after I
did an update to Windows 2K Pro, that my IE 6.0.xx has
become very slow. When I open the browser it takes 1-3
minutes before I can browse to a web-site. If I use the
history in the Address field, I really notice how sluggish
it is, it won't show that history for quite some time.

Anyone else have this problem? Any fixes?

Try the following and see if it helps.

Clear TIF Files

The temporary files only holds so many files, so perhaps you might try
clearing the Temporary Internet Files and History.

Tools | Internet Options | At the Temporary Internet Files click on Settings
| View Files tab | Edit | Select All \ click Delete key, then click OK.
Click Clear History
